Owning a distillery has been a life-long dream for Washingtonians, Ben & Stacey Lazowski. After a downturn in the economy left Ben, a general contractor, with fewer projects, the two embarked on their passion project—a distillery and tasting room. Together, they designed and built Valley Shine Distillery with a whole lot of sweat and DIY know-how.
Distilling spirits is in the blood for Ben. He grew up hearing stories about how his grandfather—a bootlegger in Chicago during the prohibition—supplied spirits to Al Capone’s clubs. This sparked Ben’s curiosity in the “family business.” Turns out, he takes after his grandfather. After years of trial and error, learning, studying and honing his craft, he succeeded in distilling spirits that are now winning awards!

Q: How long does it take to ship a product?
A: All in-stock products are carefully packaged and leave Valley Shine Distillery within 24 hours of placing the order
Q: Where can I find your spirits and liqueurs?
A: Valley Shine Distillery Products are found at various grocery stores and liquor stores. Check the website for a list of locations, or let us know your location, and we can point you to the nearest location. You can also purchase from the distillery anytime. Asking your local store to carry our products is always appreciated.
Q: What does small batch mean?
A: Small batch means we produce our products in quantities of no more than 20 gallons at a time to ensure quality and flavor.
Q: Can I buy your spirits online?
A: This is heavily dependent on where you live. Feel free to call for details. Washington State Residents: Yes. Other states are dependent.
Q: If I live in an area that doesn’t currently carry your product, how do I get it?
A: Simply ask your local liquor store or spirits provider for our products, and most quality stores will bring them in. Feel free to pass them along our direct number for expedited service: 360-853-6702
Q: What is the difference between a liqueur and a flavored vodka?
A: Liqueurs by law have to have 2.5% sugar content; vodkas do not allow this. This will make the spirit slightly sweeter and have much less of an alcohol taste. We also use high-quality ingredients in our liqueurs to deliver bold, soothing flavors.
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards and cash (USD).
Q: If I qualify for shipping, typically, how much does it cost to ship spirits?
A: If you qualify, shipping is typically about $18 per bottle, but a case of 6 is usually around $45. There are definite economies of scale. Any order over 6 bottles will be shipped in multiple boxes.
Q: Do you offer tours?
